2MP network camera combines traditional analog camera, network DVS functions
China (mainland) – Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd has released its DS-2CD852F, a 2MP network camera that combines both a traditional analog camera and a network digital video server (DVS) in a single remote surveillance platform. The unit uses Texas Instruments’ DaVinci DSP chip, and supports H.264 video compression and dual A/V streaming over TCP/IP, HTTP, RTP, RTCP, RTSP, ARP, ICMP, DHCP, FTP, UDP, DNS, DDNS, SMTP, NTP, static IP and PPPoE protocols. It records QCIF to 4CIF and 800×600-pixel (SVGA) videos at 25fps, 1280×720-pixel (HD 720p) at 12.5fps and 1600×1200-pixel (UXGA) at 5fps.
The CE- and FCC-approved surveillance camera has electronic PTZ (ePTZ) control; day/night auto switch; SD card slot; heart beat detection, alarm and bi-audio functions; and user management support, accessible via Internet Explorer. It is embedded with Linux OS.<<Read More
